Distance 26 km

Climb to the highest mountain of the Ukrainian Carpathians – Hoverla (2,061 m). From the top you can see the entire Chornohora ridge, the valley of distant Ivano-Frankivsk, and even the Romanian territories!

Climb to Petros Mount (2,020 m). Do not underestimate this peak: it has a very interesting landscape and the same incredible scenery: kilometres of Chornohora, the distant Svydovets Range and the Romanian Carpathians in the south. And going down, we will pass the highest cave of Ukraine.

Spend a night at a high mountain valley near the shepherds. And where are the shepherds, there is God’s food – brynza (hutzul cheese) 😋

We take a telescope with us on this hike. We’ll be watching craters on the Moon, the colours of stars, the rings of Saturn, the satellites of Jupiter, the Orion Nebula and the tired tourists on the next ridge.

  • Each person in his backpack carries his own gear, clothes and a part of group products.
  • We stay in tents.
  • We cook food on fire or using gas burners.

the guide can change the pre-agreed tour plan if the weather conditions become worse, someone feels bad or some other adventures happen. Your life and health in these few days is our responsibility, and we are very serious about it!

You are packing for the hike by yourself, but with our advice. We will tell you about the suitability of your clothing and equipment for the tour (temperature of the sleeping bag, the convenience of the backpack, the endurance of the tent, etc).

The gear list is classical for a multi-day trek in the warm season. Read about it here.
